It Is Great To Be Four

It is great to be four years old. We are still fascinated by beautifully simple things such as water color paints and playdough. This is a list that I have compiled of my four year old daughters favorite things. She has many toys but there are certain ones that seem to get the most attention day after day.

Barbie Scooter

My older daughter gave this to her little sister for Christmas. I said thats nice honey for when she is a little older. I was sure she wouldn't have the dexterity to stay on a scooter. Boy was I wrong. She jumped on this thing and started scooting around the house on it and hasn't stopped since.

Spinaroos Bristle Blocks

These Spinaroos Bristle Blocks are great and they come in a handy tub for storage. She can put them together and take them apart easily. And this set includes some fun animal parts. The big kids don't even mind playing with them too!

Strawberry Shortcake Caf'e

Strawberry Shortcake has completely captured my daughters interest. This playset comes with a cute little car, groceries and a talking cash register. She has spent many an afternoon shopping for groceries with strawberry shortcake!

Strawberry Shortcake Doll Set

This sweet little Strawberry Shortcake doll set comes with five of the little characters. They all have a different scent and real hair that can be brushed. These dolls fit perfectly with the Strawberry Shortcake Cafe.

Dr. Drill and Fill

O how we are fascinated by teeth. We are fortunate to have a fantastic pediatric dentist. My kids actually look forward to going for their dental check ups. My daughter just loves this Dr. Drill and fill toy. She can make teeth with the tooth mold. And then drill them with the drill that spins and makes real drill sounds. I think he actually looks a little like Dr. Phil. What do you think?

Play Dough

We just love play dough. It allows for hours of creative play. The possibilities are endless with all of the fun colors to choose from. The play dough company offers many fun play sets for play dough clay. It is just as easy to make play dough at home and make up any crazy color combos that you can think of.

Barbie Princess Flip Couch

This Barbie Princess Flip couch gets a lot of use aound our house. It is lightweight enough that she can drag it from room to room herself. It is small enough to fit in her fort and big enough that she can stretch out and snuggle into the sleeping bag for movie night! The only draw back about this comfy couch is that the dog thinks it should belong to her!

Fairies Playhut

This Faerie Princess Play hut is small enough to fit in the family room but big enough to fit two kids and a few stuffed animals. Best of all it folds flat when not in use. This is the place to hide out when my daughter has friends over. It makes the perfect backdrop for all of their fun imaginary adventures.

Crayola Water Colors

Simple but amazing fun. We watercolor almost every day. This is a fun inexpensive, creative activity. The crayola watercolor set offers a nice variety of colors for my little artist. I like the Crayola brand better than some of the others. The color variety is nice and the texture of the watercolor paint goes onto the brush nicely.

Step 2 Pink Easel For Two

This Step 2 Pink Easel for Two is the perfect place to do all of that water color Painting. When she isn't painting she can use the magnetic dry erase board on the other side for alphabet magnets. I keep our easel in the kitchen so my daughter can work on her latest creation while I am busy cooking or doing dishes.
