Piddle Pad - Child's Car Seat Protector

Updated on August 31, 2012

Piddle Pads Protect Your Car Seats from Diaper Leaks or Potty Accidents

Have you ever been on a trip with your baby, and his/her diaper leaked, wetting the car seat they are riding in? No matter how much you try to clean it, it's bound to leave some residue, odor, or even staining on the seat fabric. And if you're on a long trip, this can be very frustrating, especially if there is an odor.

Or if you have a child whom you're potty-training, you may have had to deal with "accidents", when they just couldn't wait until you could stop at a restroom. So what do you do, if you don't want to put a diaper on your child at this point?

Problem Resolved with a Piddle Pad

If you have a PIDDLE PAD seat protector underneath your baby or toddler, it will help with all these problems. All you have to do is remove it, throw it in the washer, then put it back on it when it's clean.

These have seat liners that are waterproof and can hold more than one cup of fluid. With their contoured shape, any liquids are kept contained, so it won't spill out unto the car seat. The absorbent layers of soft fabric keep the moisture away from baby, while the outer layer is vinyl, to protect the car seat. The outer layer also has a non-skid surface to keep the Piddle Pad in place, even with your child moving around.

The hole in the bottom where the harness fits through has a soft shield around it, to keep harness belts clean and dry when accidents occur. The Piddle Pad works with all harness styles, so it doesn't matter what brand of car seat or stroller you own.

Brands Available at Amazon.com

One brand, Kiddie Kangaroo, offers one that has side pockets for keeping toys or items for baby, which is an added convenience!

Other makers are Kiddopotamus, Sunshine Kids, and Summer Infant. I recommend checking each brand out, as they are all slightly different from each other. If you click on any of the ads to the right, it will take you to Amazon, or click on "PIDDLE PAD" up above, which will take you directly to the whole page of piddle pads, from each maker. Some of them are not specifically called "Piddle Pad", but are essentially the same item, as you can see. All you have to do is decided which look you like the best, or which features are preferred.
