    To hold a newborn baby, you gently place the baby in the area where your arms bend at. Overlap your hands. If your are left-handed the baby will be on the right arm and vice-versa. Your right hand will be on top of your left. The rest of the baby's body will rest on your thighs. Some people are very offensive when someone is holding their child. Some people ,both men and women are afraid of dropping the baby, because they are so tiny. Practice makes perfect. Good luck.

    There are many ways to hold a newborn, but the most important thing is to make sure you're giving them support under their neck and head since most babies cannot support their own heads at birth and in their early days.
