how to keep my baby to sleep in routine like 9 pm.

She's been sleeping at midnight and sometimes around 1-2 am. And she keeps on waking up to ask for milk. She is already 9 months.

My suggestion would be to buy the Dr. Spock book on babies if it is still available. I was a teenager alone with an infant and that book got me through any problem that came up. This was 47 years ago and I am sure it is still revelent. My son turned out well.

Hi, I'm new to this but I do have plenty of infant experience. I have a son who is also 9 moths old. My best advice, as impossible as it my seem, enforce a daily routine and keep it. We try to keep our son as active as possible, but still letting him have his "nap time'. We play with him and try as much as possible to avoid late afternoon naps (like between 3pm-7pm). When he eats lunch we try to use juice and baby food instead of formula...he will play afterwards, instead of going to sleep. This will make his afternoon nap between 1pm-3pm instead of 11am-1pm. When he does wake up at three, he gets another bottle and snack, until dinner. We try to go for a walk, play at the park, or just get in the floor and play with him. When its time for dinner, he gets baby food, and a bottle and he's gone to sleep for the night. We won't hear a peep out of him until the next morning around 7am. Now every baby is different and some people might say I'm crazy, but it works for us. Any daily routine that is repeated over and over will eventually get her going to bed the same time each night and will help her sleep longer.

With my baby I did some sleep training with him.  I feel it's best to have babies in bed around 7 pm. Watch for any tired signs and put her to bed.  My baby goes to bed around this time and sleeps almost 12 hours at 5 months old.  This is due to the sleep training I did with him around 4 months of age.  It's harder on you than it is the baby, but will benefit everyone in the long run!  My baby was waking every hour to eat at 3-4 months of age and it was taking a toll on me and not allowing me to enjoy motherhood.  Helping my baby learn how to sleep through the night was one of the best things I did for both of us.

If your baby is waking for milk it has probably become a habit.  At around 4 months of age babies don't necessarily need to wake for feedings multiple times during the night.  My baby will wake on occassion and be hungry, but this is getting more rare.

Here's some hubs I did on what worked for me in getting my baby to sleep.

Good luck and hang in there!
