White Noise! Turn on anything like the vacuum or a blow dryer. It worked like a charm for my daughter when she was an infant.
White noise works great but you could also try putting your baby into a sling or baby wrap. Being close to you is all you baby wants and you can get things done around the house this way too. My 9 month old still loves being worn.
trying rocking, white noise def works too, standing and swaying, singing, after feeding just hold them close and breath deeply (they love to hear their mommy's heart and breath they know you are close). hope that can help some!
Divert the attention of the child by doing something in the moment of sudden.
White noise works for most kids, like the others said, but if it doesn't, these tend to help.
1. Rock the baby gently and make soothing sounds
2. Dangling something shiny above them tends to work.
3. Try a bottle, sometimes babies get stomach aches and just need something to settle it, or to be burped.
4. There are chewing blocks, big plastic, but hollow, blocks tend to keep their attention fairly well.
5. If all else fails, they could have stomach issues, so a doctor would be a good suggestion.
