my daycare is not licensed, can I deduct what I paid in 2009?
The daycare I use is not licensed in Michigan. Can I deduct what I paid for daycare in 2009?
You can try but if you get flagged or audited for it, you could be in some trouble and for certain your day care provider would be. The dollars you deduct have to be reported as going someplace. They are pretty strict about that here in Michigan.
