    What is the hardest thing about being an estranged Dad?

    Of course it is not being able to be around my daughter. The absence of any kind of contact is hard for me. Not sure about how my absence is affecting her, but it can't be good, and I feel for that. The bias against single fathers is hard to deal with. Most people aren't truly aware of this type of discrimination, but those who are at the receiving end of that discrimination are acutely aware of it. I've lost my friends, my family, my job, my money, my emotional stability... It's hard! Things happen, though, so we do the best we can and move on.
