Yes, I would think so.  Having 5 children myself and just entering the menopause stage, even thought I had my tubes tied years ago, I am feeling that my 'time' is almost over.  When this phase of my life is complete I will no longer be able to produce children.  This is one my mind at times.  I have always felt that if I REALLY wanted another child I could go through the procedure to have my tubes untied, but once I no longer have a menstrual cycle it won't matter.

So yes, I think it can still happen no matter how many children you have.  It's just a cycle of life.

How do you think I ended up with so many kids... lol.
Yes, your biological clock still ticks even after you've had children & sometimes even stronger.
After giving birth to my 6th child & having my tubes tied (because my man & I agreed that 8 kids is enough) * he had 2 from a previous relationship...
My clock still ticks sometimes. There are days when I think maybe I would have liked to have another baby (or a dozen more).. I'm one of those women who loved being pregnant & I just adore babies & family.
My relatives used to joke "don't let her hold the baby - she'll want another one!"

I'm rambling. Anyway, it's a natural part of being female (and/or human). Logically I know I have enough children. It doesn't stop the natural instinct of wanting more.  I just have to remind myself that I have enough (more than enough by some people's standards) and that it's alright because eventually I'll have grandkids. & like sweetsusieg said: after menapause the urge will go away.

sorry for being so long winded.
