Why are so many people live their everyday life with a paper mask? Why is it so terrifying to be...

    yourself? Its truly heart breaking.

I am who I am? love me or not, like me or not. I hide fron no one, and do not pretend to be who I am. Take it or leave it.

    MY WAY OF VIEWING LIFE:
"Life is mind over matter."  "I don't mind anything that happens throughout my day and nothing that happens matters."

"You cannot re-vist yesterday, you can only live for the moment, for the day. There is no tomorrow, for by the time you reach tomorrow, it is today."

I think a lot of people wear masks because they are scared of something.  It could be confrontation, or embarrassment. I try not to wear masks, though I know i put one on when I am sick or if i get really angry, I will y to act normal, but people can tell. But i agree you should be yourself and screw what others think.

I find it somewhat ironic that you are asking this question on the internet, where anyone can be just about whoever they claim to be, a digital mask if you will. Of course, it also means that a person can unabashedly be them self with no fear of real life repercussions.

Strange that on something so impersonal as a machine we find the expression of the self so much easier. Perhaps that doesn't answer your question but I think we all know the answer in a basic sense.
