How parents can educate young children about the dangers of drugs?
Well every parent is diffrent, my mom when we got old enough began to talk about her own life exsperiences , she is a very open book person and i think this helped me to see things better in a parents eyes to want to listen and of course we also had a health class where we had to see pictures of drug users and what not . i say give them facts show them the result of being a druggy , bc trust me i lost too many friends to drugs, .
I plan on taking a drive through skid row with my kids and let them see what their future will be if they do drugs.
My 6 year old knows about some of it. We don't give her all the details but she knows the basics about the dangers of getting addicted. It came up naturally when we were discussing different mushrooms and plants (we homeschool).
Hi Princessa, as luck would have it your hub completely froze on me, but I am working away until you have it this evening. I think you will find it most helpful. My apologies
