What are the three best games to play at a baby shower?
I am looking for fun, unusual party games for a baby shower. It is going to be a girl. No name games please.
We had a nursery rhyme game at mine. I was asked to come up with 20 questions/answers, like Simple Simon met who on his way to the fair? A Pieman, and they were printed out for everyone to answer.
I also love the candy bar diaper game and word scramble. I never liked the "guess how big mommy is" game, like I needed to be reminded!
My little one loves to play hide and seek. But, since it's a baby shower that means the baby isn't born yet. So , maybe you could try playing a cardboard game like monopoly with the guests?
Our family enjoys a game where we walk across the room carrying a potato between our knees, then we drop it into a jar without using our hands. If by chance you make it, you win a prize. We play this game at every baby shower. It is especially fun because the mommy to be is not the only one waddling.
Another fun baby shower game is the dirty diaper game. We use a basket to hold the tiny diapers. We make the diapers with tiny pieces of clothe, folded like an old fashioned diaper with one safety pin in front. One or a few diapers have spicy or brown mustard in them. Each person picks a diaper and if you open a dirty diaper you win a prize.
I think the best ones are the ones that get EVERYONE involved.

We have been invited to a baby shower. Both men and women were invited. My husband is flabbergasted and says it is in bad taste (primarily because he doesn't want to go, I think). He says it is wrong.I say, why not? I'm actually relieved, since it probably means we won't have to play stupid parlor...
