Is x-ray danger for children?
I found one case of a child was requested to do skull x-ray because he fall down and hit his head to the floor. not serious but doctor want to rule out. is it danger for the kids for doing skull x-ray?
Could be. Medical professionals take extra precautions whenever x-ray is required whether on an adult or on a child. So I'm sure they'll do the same in this case.
If the benefits of the x-ray on the child outweighs the risk, and since this is being done to rule out any possible damage or concussion that could result from the child hitting his head on the fall, then it should be fine.
Thank for your sharing. I heard that radiation is danger for kids because their brain's cell or skull is very young, so radiation is deeper penetrate to their brain. is it true that they are risky with with brain cancer in the future?
