    What is the biggest disapointment and uncertainity you have ever had in your life?

    The biggest disappointment for me was when my Mum divorced my Dad... She moved straight in with another man and allowed him to hit me. For me that's the story of my life... Things go swimmingly, then go very wrong. So really I guess it's not the divorce that disappointed me, it was the realization that life is up and down, which is tough to face at the age of eight.

    When I was pregnant with my first child I was very excited until the first ultra sound showed that he had fluid around his heart, lungs and in his lower abdomen.  We were told by a specialist to terminate the pregnancy and try again because he would be born with a genetic disorder worse than Down Syndrome.  We were very scared and disappointed with the news.  Well we told him to prove to us that he wouldn't have a normal life because of this, all of the tests showed that he was normal.  We were still very uncertain of how things would turn out and very scared.  Today he is 16 and very smart.  He did have a chest wall deformity which has been corrected through surgery, ADHD, and Aspergers Syndrome.  But other than these issues he was born just fine.  We are very proud of him.

    I've had many disappointments but when I look back they were just opportunities to correct my path.  The uncertainity was the death of my husband when I was young and we had only been married 7 years.  I had a young son and it was a very scary and yes uncertain time.

    That day i was to start a new school, but unfortunately i was not accepted because we arrived late for the interview, why it was disappointing was that, that same traffic congestion that made us late, is what i found myself into when going back home

    Graduating college!  Not exactly a disappointment, persay but was a lot less exciting than I thought.  In fact, I wrote a hub about the disappointment involved with graduating college when there are few jobs.
