How did you get your breastfed baby to take a bottle?
In need of tips and tricks to get my little one to take a bottle. She refuses any and all bottles
I feel for you... I went through the same thing with my twins. The BEST advice I can give you is have someone else do it. If she's with you, she will want to breastfeed. Have your husband or someone else give it to her until she gets used to it.
Experiment with different nipple sizes, too. Some are too slow, others are too fast and will shock your little one. You may have to experiment with this a little bit.
Anyway, good luck! I know how frustrating it can be...
This may sound strange, but my daughter would only take a slightly chilled bottle. I know it's against everything everyone says to do, but it was the only way she'd drink bottled milk. She knew it wasn't the real deal. Chilled seemed like an entirely different offering to her (it seemed like)
We also had some success with cup feeding once the kids were able to sit with assistance. Obviously, this was a messy procedure. A LLL leader recommended using a shot glass, which is easy to manipulate for parents and holds a minimal amount of liquid.
