    No, not really -- but then, I was raised around a lot of people who had aunts and uncles very close to them in age. In my own family, my daughter and son are 14 and 15 years younger than their oldest nephew, and I am younger than their oldest sister. I also know people who had their kids over 20 years apart with the same parents, so the mother and older daughter were pregnant at the same time. Today, with improved understanding of human health and medical technology, the healthy and productive lifespan of any human being is much longer than it used to be, so I'd imagine that this is becoming more and more common.

      That is interesting. Maybe its just because I have only begun to hear about these instances. Often I know of people who are close in age with their nieces and nephews but not so often do I hear that they are in fact old.
