How did you tell your child they had Autism or Austism Spectrum Disorder?
My parents never figured it out for my brother. He got his diagnosis at 47, and he's 55 now. I suspect that I was autism spectrum as a child, but I came across books by Barry Neil Kaufman (Son-Rise and To Love is To Be Happy With). If I had a child with either disorder, I would read these books and then trust my heart.
