Whom do you love more your mother or your father?
Whom do you love more your mother or your father ? Is it true that there is always one of them that we give most priority to ?
My father lies in bed really sick as he has been for a few months. My mother spends 95% of her time by his bedside and the only word dad can say now is "mama", meaning mom and it is directed to my mom. I am in my early forties. My parents always loved us and our dad was exceptional. I had more fights with my mom than with my dad, but I have more fights with my children now than they do with their dad and I understand why. Between my mom and my dad, there is not one I love more than the other. I love them both in different ways and I can never be more thankful to God that He gave them both to us to be our parents. I realize time is not endless and juggling our prejudices over who is the better or best parent is vanity because we only have one life to live and it certainly is not long enough to include frivolous things. I love my parents more than I ever thought it was possible for a child to love and each day I pray and thank God for both of them asking that he will give us yet another day to enjoy together..
I only met my dad a few times, so of course, I was much closer to my mom. However, as far as love goes, I recently realized that true love does not discriminate. I love everyone in this world the same. I may have closer relationships with certain people, but that doesn't mean that I love anyone else any less.
i don't really like either of them to be honest but i do love them. i would give my life for them or kill for them but i don't like spending any more time then i have to with them.
A question that I read and kept digging deep and deeper until I just had to answer, not in a sentence, but with a hub because as a daughter and a mother, I have my opinion. read more
