Were you ever in beauty contests as a teenager and/or young adult, if so, how instrumental
were those contests regarding enhancing career opportunities? Many noted celebrities and non-celebs obtained their careers through participating in beauty contests.
I was in the Jr. Miss pageant in my hometown when I was 16. I tripped on my gown during the evening gown competition and forgot my lines in the talent part... it never helped (or hurt, thank goodness) my career options later on.
