In the book, YOU HAVE NO IDEA, about the life of actress/singer/producer Vanessa Williams cowritten with her mother, Helen Williams, detailed how Vanessa was very rebellious from childhood. Helen indicated that Vanessa became even more rebellious as she got older, often leading Vanessa to be grounded throughout high school. Helen stated that each time she told Vanessa NOT to do something,Vanessa would DO the opposite. Helen &her late husband Milton remained loving&supportive parents in spite of it all;many parents WOULDN'T be as accepting of their children's mistakes & rebellions!
10 characteristics 1 Corinthians 13:4: “Love is patient, love is kind, does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always and preserves.” The Bible said it best but as a parent who struggled with three terrific children, I was lucky. The most important thing I learned is never forget to say sorry when you mess up because they can live with an apology but not an adult who says "because I said so", even if they're wrong.

I have noticed that many runaways have justified their reason for running away because Mom or Dad "Beat Them"! I wonder and ponder how many of these adolescents truly are abused or are running from responsibilities?If you where to come across a runaway what would you think?
