Do you cane your children?
How do you think caning affect children? Are you for or against caning children? Why?
Completely against. What a horrible thing to do to another human being, let alone a child. I think it's disgusting.
What are the effects on the child? Oh, probably just fear, distrust, and a warped sense of consequences.
It's child abuse. No question.
While it does get the child to comply to your will in the here-and-now, you will pay a terrible price for it in the future relationship with your child. Hitting children is immoral, reprehensible, cowardly, lazy, and damaging to relationship.
