What is it politically correct to call yourself a single mom when, in fact, you are a divorced mom?
Single denotes NEVER married OR that the father of the children is neither involved in your child's life. If the father is dead then you are a WIDOW!!! Please stop making the children feel like they don't have a father figure. Plus if you aren't married, you shouldn't be making babies. Children need BOTH-a mother and a father
You have made a question and given an answer too! Do you really seek opinions?
Single mom is the term generally given to a woman without a partner and who also has children. I believe it is easy to say and allows the woman the right to privacy about what happened to her partner.
