I'm only weighing in because i have children, usually a mild spray on soap or something to the effect of febreze, washing it will ruin the entire thing. Spray the spotted areas scrub by hand and tumble dry to fluff the inside, a dryer sheet or 2 might help soften it and make it smell better.
    Just a Dad's 2 cents

i use a face towel soak with soap and water, wipe the stuff toy, wipe again with clean plain water with the face towel. Hang up dry under the sun, make sure very dry.
