   What did you dream of (or your mother dream of) when you got pregnant?
   
   A lot of women recall dreaming of something (animal, star, demon etc) falling into their stomach when they got pregnant.  Some culture believe, that is when the soul enter the baby body and is its true form.  If you dream a whale enter you, then your child's past life is a whale.  Some very famous people that did great thing for the world, dream of angels or dragons enter her.  What did you dream of (or your mother dream of) when you got pregnant?

   Hi peter565, I am rather intrigued by your statement.  I had never heard of this type of dream and it's explanation as you put it.
   
   However, I do know that some pregnant women experience dreams that may be unusual or bizarre to them.  Scientific rationale tells us that
   there is  a combination of progesterone surging through the veins of a pregnant woman and sometimes, this added to the excitement and apprehension about pregnancy and motherhood can give rise to that.
   
   Another reason for unusual dreams could be the fact that it is common for a pregnant woman to have broken sleep due to leg cramps or a need to go to the loo, and that could interrupt a dream-filled cycle of REM sleep, thus distorting the dream.

   In my family it's fish.  It could be fried fish or goldfish.  If it's fish then somebody is pregnant.

      Well, from your photo you seem like a very gentle person, definitely fit the idea a fish represent.
