    Why should we care about the peoples around us?sometimes they act like too close /stranger!!!!

    We care about others. Its natural.  But why? Why? all our family members, sometimes they act like so much caring, want to make me happy and sometimes they are as strangers. So,if they keep changing their attitude,  why can't we change thoughts of being good in frontvof them???

    Our ancestors evolved in tribes of several hundred people. We were related by blood or marriage to a large number of them and grew up with the rest. Our charitable and selfless instincts are evolved to help those we grow up with or look like us on the assumption that they are kin of some sort.
    Cities short circuit this by removing us from close relatives while putting us in constant contact with many new strangers, while we debate selfish/selfless acts - and face a constant stream that means some of these interactions will be with those who'd take advantage of us.
