How to make a Rainbow Colored Cake

Rainbow colored cakes are a delight to see in any occasion especially in birthday parties. They are perfect for children’s parties and any color themed party. It is very easy to make as long as you have the right ingredients to make it. Here are simple steps to create your own Rainbow colored cake. Make sure you have the necessary tools like your pan and measuring spoon before your begin.

What you need to make your cake:

One box of white cake mix

Once 12 ounce can of Sprite

Gel food coloring (Six different colors or more)

One 8-ounce tub of whipped topping

One package of instant vanilla pudding

Grab your 12-ounce can of Sprite and pour into the box of whiter cake mix. Remember to not add eggs, oil or even water to mix. If you do so, the batter will become lumpy.

Next, separate the batter into six different bowls and stir the coloring to each batch using different spoons for each separate color. Make sure that there is only one color per bowl

In the middle of the pan you will use, pour in the different colored batter one at a time in the middle of it. Use a measuring spoon for this. One technique is to use two pans and separate the batches. One pan will consist of three colors like yellow, orange, and red, while the second pan will consist of purple, blue, and green. This will follow the arrangement of the rainbow and will somehow evenly separate the batter.

Follow the instructions on the box and start baking your cake. While waiting for the cake to finish, start making the cake frosting. Get the 8-ounce tub of whipped topping and mix it with box of pudding mix. If you want to add more color, you can add food coloring to your frosting mix.

Once the cake is done, cool it for about fifteen minutes. Add the frosting as desired. Serve whenever and enjoy. You can decorate the cake however you want, just make sure that the colors do not clash with one another so the design would not look messy. With little girls’ parties, this is a perfect cake to match with a Unicorn or Pony themed celebration. It will depend on how you match your cake with other decorations, but the important thing is how delicious your cake will be if it is done right. Thank you for reading and hope this has helped dear reader.
