Pav Bhaji -- yummy Spicy -- All Desi Style :)
Treat Yourself - Spicy pav bhaji
Ingredients:
Fresh Green Beans
Potato
Onion
Capsicum (Bell Pepper, Yellow, red and green)
Green Peas
Butter (I prefer Indian Amul butter)
Pav or bread (You can use hamburger buns too)
Pav bhaji Masala (MDH is good but you can use any)
Red chili powder
Tomato
DhanuJiru powder (Cumin and Coriander seeds powder)
Ginger
Coriander leaves
Salt
Vegetable or Canola Oil
Method:
Take beans (few), potato (3), some peas, and Sliced capsicum (Yellow, green, red) and boil them with water, so that the vegetables become soft and mushy.
Take the boiled vegetables and smash them to form a paste.
Take two tomatoes and grind to form fresh puree.
Chop onions and grate ginger and keep aside. Heat oil in a frying pan and put the ginger and onions in it. Fry until onion becomes golden brown and add in the boiled vegetable paste and fry them for 5 mins.
Put one spoon of dhanuJira powder and two spoons of pav bhajii masala. Mix it well with the paste. Add in half spoon of red chili powder and add some water.
Mix the paste well and add in the tomato puree. Stir well and add some more water. Add one spoon salt and simmer well until it becomes a semi-solid paste (see image).
Once done add two or three spoons of butter to the bhajii and garnish with coriander leaves.
Your mouthwatering bhaji is all done and ready to server. See its so easy, right :)
Now take the bread and fry it with butter, quantity as much as you require.
