Here is yet another simple, but delicious recipe that I have mastered using with my family. My husband and kids truly love this one and you can't beat this one for warm summer nights right now.

I prepare the filling in the morning, either before my girls wake up or after they have had breakfast and are watching cartoons and playing a bit. Then, I serve as an after dinner snack. By the way, you can freeze this for up to a day before but the thawing time may vary slightly.

So read on what ingredients you will need and just how to prepare this scrumptious dessert for the entire family!

Janine, LOVE the photo! I would love to make these. I adore strawberry flavoured stuff and these look like they'd be fun to make though I'm not sure I can get some of the ingredients in the UK so will need to buy equivalents. Great hub, voted uo and shared.

This sounds so delicious. What a great idea for ice cream without an ice cream maker. I'm sure it would be popular in any household! Voted up and shared.

Janine - I had to write in again to let you know I made this icecream yesterday and not only was it very easy to prepare, it was delectable!!! Absolutely out of this world. My Grandma used to make home made icecream and this was so similar to that.

Thanks for this recipe as it is quickly becoming quite popular at my house.

Love my girls, but it is kind of funny to watch them trying to eat my food even when they have the same thing in from of them. I guess it is inevitable as the stay home mom of 2 small kids. but so true about needed a break from the serious hubs once and awhile. Your comedy sure does serve that and these recipe tend to do that for me. Thanks again Josh!!!

Haha, that is too funny about you sharing with them while they are eating! LOL Yeah I figured you needed a break, and that is ok, we all need that sometimes! That is why I write about humor a lot to balance with my more serious hubs. It is fun to write both serious and light-hearted hubs! Keep up the great work Janine! :)

By the way, my girls love ice cream cones and would eat anything tasty in them. If I am eating one I always end up sharing with them even if they already have had one!!
