Sweet Spicy Chicken
This is a simple baked chicken recipe that combines sweet and spicy flavors to give your healthy baked chicken a kick. The tasty sauce brings it all together and goes great with rice pilaf or potatoes.

- 2-4 Chicken fillet, thawed
- 2 Tbs cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 Tbs cornstarch
- sliced jalepeno's, to taste
- 1/2 Cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 Cup water
- 2 Tbs chicken bouillon
- 2 Tbs chili powder
- 3 tsp papricka
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbs red pepper
- 4 Tbs sugar
- 2 Tbs all spice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat thawed chicken in oil and add optional seasoning if preferred. Lay slices of jalapeno's across the top of the chicken. Cover and bake for 35-45 minutes.
- Chop garlic cloves and onion.
- In a small sauce pan combine cornstarch and spices. Mix until thoroughly combined. Add medium heat and add water and chicken bouillon. Stir the mixture until it becomes a paste. Next add sugar, stir until combined. lastly add garlic and onions. Stir evenly, keep warm to serve.
- Remove chicken from oven when finished and pour desired amount of sauce on top to serve.
