Delectable Foods
While Uncorked specializes in cheeses, meats, and chocolates, the variety of foods available is marvelous. The chef will come out and talk to you about the special of the day in addition to the regular menu they offer.
I ordered the bruschetta, which was prepared to order; I was pleasantly surprised that the chef chopped the tomato, cheese, garlic, onions, and basil right then and there. It was by far the best bruschetta I ever tasted! The ingredients were ripe and fresh, the order was timely and the presentation was excellent!

Wines to Fit Your Needs and Budget!
While I don't consider myself to be an elite fine wine connoisseur, the staff at Uncorked was extremely knowledgeable about every type of wine, and that's not a small feat- since Uncorked carries more than 100 bottles and a nice selection of craft beers as well.
I asked the bartender which wine they would suggest to pair with my entrée, and to my surprise they didn't try to sell the most expensive wine, or choose a wine they already had opened- they were happy to open a bottle specifically for me and my palate.

Events- Wine Tastings and Features
Uncorked offers nightly specials- Happy Hours from 4-7 Monday- Friday. This includes $4 glasses of house red or white; $3 craft beers, and $2 off featured cheese of the day
Wine Tastings occur the last Saturday of each month from 5pm-7pm.
Smaller wine tastings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 5pm-7pm.
Wine tastings include a food pairing sample; Saturday tastings include six wines for $16 per person; Wednesday tastings include three wines for $7 per person.
I attended a Wednesday tasting and sampled three unique wines and ate a sample platter of bread, cheese, almonds, honey, and grapes. The three wines I sampled were-(as explained by the knowledgeable bartender):
- Le Village Pinot Noir
Village du Sud Pinot Noir is a mid-bodied Pinot Noir from the Languedoc region of France. It is fragrant with soft red fruit flavors of raspberry and cherry. It has good weight and is great on its own or with lighter meat dishes.
- Hill & Dale SAUVIGNON BLANC
A free-spirited, creative, and well-balanced wine from South Africa. The Hill&Dale Sauvignon Blanc is an elegantly crisp dry wine with style and individuality. The layers of mouth-watering tropical fruit make it the perfect wine to accompany a light meal.
- Árido Malbec
Malbec in Argentina has come to be appreciated for a spicy white pepper characteristic, the aroma of violets, and sweet, jammy fruit. It is a seductive wine that is typically warm and generous; it can be very appealing when young. Almost always producing a ripe and fruity, even plummy wine, Malbec can take oak aging or show well without it; it is an exceptional companion with a broad range of food.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning about where the wine comes from and interesting facts about the various reds, whites, blush, dry and sweet varieties, but the experience I got from Uncorked was the reason I will be back.
I give them five stars for the knowledgeable bartenders, pleasant staff, delicious foods, and the friendly, welcoming environment.
Check them out and see for yourself why they they deserve five stars!
