This recipe is for a 2 quart spouted container.
3 - 4 good size fresh lemons
1 cup sugar
Roll the lemons on the counter to get them good and juicy, breaking the pulp inside. before actually opening the lemon.
Cut 2 or 3 of the lemons in half (I start with 2) juice them, trying to get all the juice (no sense in wasting). You'll want about 1/2 cup of juice, depending on your taste.
Mix in the sugar, then add water, stir until the sugar is dissolved. For a finishing touch I take the remain lemon and slice it in 1/4 inch rounds and drop them in the pitcher.
Add ice to your glass, pour and enjoy!!
