    Ok, so I've always wondered why microwaved/reheated chix always tastes so terrible and I want to know if anyone has a scientific explanation WHY.

    If you eat it cold, after it's been cooked, it tastes fine, but cook it in the microwave and it CHANGES FLAVOR. So disgusting, it's almost inedible.

    So I don't want to know if the microwave dries it out and changes the texture etc. I want to know why the flavor becomes distinctly funky. Does anyone know?
