He wants his son to take over his position.
Is this how it works in American politics?
Where does he think we are? In Cuba?

Why does not Roy Moore have the conjones to step down as a result of the allegations against him?

He's a narcissistic super predator who has gotten away with it for years, just like his new fanboy Trump. He will never admit wrongdoing and now that the GOP has embraced him, it's up to the good Christians of Alabama to show what they stand for. The GOP can now legitimately be called the party of "Grand Ol'  Pedophiles."

Did you see this interview with the Roy Moore spokesperson who kept using the pregnant journalist's baby as a talking point? {{{{{shudder}}}}}. She looked and sounded like Carrie's psycho religious nut mama.

        Disgusting.

          Thanks, Panther.
I had a look and it is obvious to anyone with any grey matter that Moore's representative is being trying to evade the issue and she is not doing a very good job of it. But Alabama is quite primitive, so if he has a chance anywhere, it will probably be there.

Why did Nancy call for Conyers to step down, and not Franken?  Seems kind of racist to me.  Maybe she knows a lot more than we do?

Franken is my State's Senator.  His apology was half hearted, so it seemed to me. But, I don't personally know the guy, and don't care to.

There is nothing good to say for anyone who has been credibly accused of this sort of behavior. But, you want to know why I am that much harder on Moore?

He is supposed to be the Christian example, he touts that as a way to gather support and votes among the more simpleminded residents of his state. But, it is a two edged sword. I am going to hold you to the standard that to you, yourself, confess to and that you say makes you holier than thou and heads and shoulders above everyone else.

Because of the hypocrisy of his position regarding his vaunted Christian status, his involvement in this behavior brings him down several notches below the other guys.

Well, that is a lot of unsubstantiated accusations that you would not be able to verify. It is simpleminded to make such statements of something you do not have personal knowledge of.

As for me, I have said I am a sinner, I know that I need a Savior. I have never said I am holier than thou or heads and shoulders above anyone. That just isn't true, Cred.  You get a Pinocchio!   shesh

People are innocent until proven guilty.  That is how our justice system works.  Moore denies the accusations and he has the support of people who have known him all his life.  So!   Use some deductive reasoning and logic.

This is a thread about Conyers?

Because every liberal accused of doing anything wrong is automatically guilty and every conservative accused of doing something wrong is simply the poor victim of evil liberal women trying to take them down. Duh.

I understand that Conyers is in the hospital because of a stress illness.  I hope he recovers and enjoys a wonderful Christmas with his family.

We need to know who paid off who with taxpayer's money, and how much.  That secret shush fund needs to be demolished.  The Ethic Committee needs to be investigated...for too long this sexual perversion in government has gone unchecked.  An Open Secret!

It is in check now though, and that is a good thing.  Not good news to hear, but that's been life as usual in the swamp.

And an atheist would be a better choice for an sex offender ?   There is your liberal hypocrisy  in it's finest hour.   "The real fire is over there not here!" As the flames consume your own house .

Did you mean a progressive liberal socialist would be a better sex offender?  Can't hold them to a higher standard because they don't have one.

Added:  Did you hear about the black college football player who raped a woman as payback for 400 years of slavery?  Yeah, if that isn't vile and disgusting...evil moron.

colorfulone Excuse me, are you using the fact that the man was black and a (fake) 'liberal' to defend- white (fake) 'conservative' rapists who also use rape as a means to control? It just doesn't make sense... ANY RAPIST IS A RAPIST. Also, the man was quite obviously not in a right state of mind, and was fucking mental in one way or another, you're STILL, on such a weird level, in an odd way... paying attention to the rapist and their opinion, as opposed to the victim...
Holy shit, to anyone and everyone using a discussion on rape to further fuck up United States politics.... I cannot believe that you don't feel like no matter what political party, "race", religion, gender, culture, or position in media someone is a "member" of, that being a rapist is STIL a signifier of someone who is NOT a good person. But, that's just me... I guess you'd rather overlook that.. just gloss right over parts of that for your own argument. Your poor ego must be beaten up pretty badly in order for you to prosecute 'only some rape' in your attempt to win an argument that you have no real hold of....
