what's the largest # of people you've ever invited over and cooked for?
About 125 people. We invited all of the sports teams my company sponsors, plus spouses/significant others for a luau/beach party. Rented a waterslide, hired a bartender to make tropical drinks, and did a Hawaiian style barbeque with banana leaf wrapped smoked pork shoulders (great recipe from Cooks Illustrated), grilled whole pinapples, fresh fruit salsas and rice. Was able to pull it off with my smoker, grill and home range. Everything was pretty tight while cooking, but it went off great and no one wanted to go home.
That had to be incredible. Would love to see a hub about it with all of the great and goofy things that happened.
