Does anyone have a creative suggestion for a meal that can feed a family of 8?
at times some of the children in our family can have their picky moments and more often then not there is at least one child complaining about what is being served. We try to pick meals that the majority like because the rule at our house is that only one supper is being cooked and that there is not going to be more than one meal made.
This is a tough one. Hard to make something every kid will like. How about pasta with veggies? Can never go wrong with that.
We make individual pizzas: buy a bag of frozen bread rolls (uncooked dough) set in muffin tins for defrosting in the am and cover with saran wrap until ready to make
dice and chop all the fresh veggies/toppings and put in bowls on the counter
open a large can of tomato sauce and season with garlic, italian seasoning, and oregano and pour into a bowl with a ladle
use a greased rolling pin to spread out the dough into circles &
have the kids build their own creative fun pizzas
bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (check for doneness)
Rice dishes like like Red Beans & Rice are ideal because 3 cups of rice and 4 cans of beans can easily feed 8 people. It can be made in less than 30 minutes. Also any pasta dish like spaghetti or goulash can be made in large quantities to feed over 8 people, it too can be made under 30 minutes. Breakfast casseroles and dinner casseroles made in 13 x 9 x 2 dish can feed as many as 12 people and can be made in about 45 minutes. All of these are very economical!

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.
