Have you tried or made apple cider (sweet or hard)?
We have a vacation home in Manson, Wa and have been making apple cider (sweet & hard) for several years mostly from the 24 apple trees (16 varieties) in our small hobby orchard.
We have with varying results.
We also had a number of apple trees of various varieties in the back garden of our old house and actually managed to make sparkling and still ciders that could blow your socks off.
The first bit's a right messy job though especially without a lot of space to crush the apples initially. We used a food processor and it took longer to clean up afterwards than it did to mush the apples.
I haven't made apple cider. It's a favorite beverage for me at Thanksgiving.

Has anyone tried apple cider vinegar for health?Have been reading about health benefits. Have to be careful because it is acidic, but can eat on salad, etc. Has anyone tried this and gotten good results? I am especially interested in blood sugar reduction as my morning blood sugar tends to run...
