Has anyone ever heard of cooking/roasting a turkey in a paper bag? If so, how do you do it?
It was kind of a fad in the 60's-70's, before the plastic oven bags came about, and the paperbags started to disappear from grocery stores.
If I remember right, you had to soak the bag in cooking oil, so it would not burn. The oily bag also held in the juices and steam, making the turkey more moist.
