I love pizza, and I especially love Papa John’s pizza. To me, what makes their pizza so much better

Papa John’s pizza sauce has a flavor that is incomparable. I always wished I could take Papa... read more
Hi, I dont have any homemade recipe for pizza sauce but have tried tomato ketchup in place of it and its tastes good...So may be you can try to put tomato ketchup or any flavor of tomato sauce...
Homemade pizza sauce should be fairly basic and straightforward, so that it does not overwhelm the pizza toppings. Try this recipe which will make enough sauce for two, twelve inch pizzas.
1 14oz can of chopped tomatoes in tomato juice
A good pinch of dried basil leaves
2 grated garlic cloves
Salt and pepper
Add them all to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook on a very low heat for about twenty minutes, stirring frequently. Cover and allow to cool before using as sauce on your pizza. (Can be strained through a sieve or blitzed in a blender if you want it extra smooth.)
