Why is swiss cheese a traditional part of Cordon Bleu?
Sounds french. And it's fried. but is it really french fried ?
Most of the Chicken Cordon Bleu that I have seen was made in the oven. And Swiss Cheese is just the traditional cheese used in the dish. You could quite easily use Provolone or Mozzarella.
