It would help to know what cut of venison we were going to cook. I like to marinade venison in a mixture of oil, burgundy, red wine vinegar, with salt, pepper, garlic. After it soaks in the marinade for 12-24 hours. Depending on the cut, you can then grill, roast or smoke it.
