Did you ever feel elated after eating a meal?
Yesterday I ate homemade pork loin with cranberry sauce, roasted butternut squash, and lima beans. I felt like I almost had a runner's high for about two hours after I ate the meal. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Maybe after you ate such a savory meal, it amped up (elevated) your brain chemicals such as "opioids" - that are linked to feelings of pleasure and euphoria?
Especially after eating something that I haven't eaten in a while or something I've been longing for!
And in order to REALLY feel that elation, under no circumstances can I be interrupted while I'm eating! No questions, no dialogue!

Have you ever eaten a meal and then discovered what you ate is not what you thought it was? (e.g., my mother once served us rabbit and told us kids it was chicken)
