Do you 'cook' with smoked salmon?  How do you 'cook' with it? What recipes, or ways do you use it?

Or do you just prefer it the way it is, simply cured?

Mmmm. . . I usually eat it on a bagel with cream cheese, but one of my favorite culinary surprises was a dish I had in Rome (right up your alley!) — a smoked salmon pizza! I don't have a recipe, unfortunately, but I think it'd be quite easy to do.

In fact, right up my alley.  Delicious!  It's just slivered and put on rucola over mayonnaise on hot pizza, (I think!)

You can cook with it,  merely adding it last to hot pan, warming it or using it in a nicoise salad.  My favorite salad is any smoked fish, fresh spinach, lemon vinegarette, red onion,  avacado and crunchy salt and fresh back pepper.

Nice idea and might try this! Tasty indeed.  We're eating eggs but we get them from our next door neighbor.

Smoked salmon can be eaten as it is, but it is also delicious as an ingredient in other dishes I really like cooking it and here are two quick ways i cook with it

1 - To make scrambled eggs with salmon:
Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Whisk the 2 eggs, then pour them into the pan. When the eggs are nearly cooked mix them around with a fork, and add some chopped smoked salmon, salt and pepper.

2 - To make the roasted salmon:
Sear the salmon fillet, then lay over some smoked salmon. Put the salmon on a tray, squeeze over the juice of half a lemon and bake for about 10-15 minutes at 160 degrees.
Try these you will thank me later plus they ae super simple to make.
