You can use it to make some creamed peas with pearl onions...Or you can fry some bananas with some brown sugar and butter and top it with the crème fraiche you can also use it to make a nice cream sauce to go over some pasta.
I'd add it to some beef, butter, mushrooms,onions and paprika and you've got yourself the basis of a good stroganoff (Rick Stein has a straight forward recipe - google will sort you out, not sure if i can post a link :-) ) . You could also substitute it for any recipes using coconut milk e.g. thai curries etc.mmm, getting hungry now :-()
You can use it on most anything. or in your coffee or hot chocolate. on fruit, on pie, i use it in so many ways. I much prefer it over whipped creme put some nutmeg and sugar in it, the uses are endless just experiment.
