What local diner would you say is the best in your state?
What is the name of the diner and the city it's in, and why do you give it a high rating?
Here in the Philippines, we don't have a diner but we have an eatery. We call it KARINDERYA. All sorts of dishes is cooked there. Anybody who is hungry can eat. Very affordable for many Fipinos. Every corner of every town has a karinderya because we make this also our source of income. It's not an establishment. Just a spot on the yard of someone's house can be a karinderya if they wanted to.
Texas is a huge state, so I wouldn't speak for people in other cities. Here in San Antonio, our favorite diner is Jim's. The food is comforting and tasty, and the service is friendly.
