I'm either making lasagna the night before so I don't have to cook on Sunday, or I'm making brat's with beer and peppers. Since I do have to cook the brat's on low for a little while I might just choose to hang around the kitchen drinking beer.

A girl after my own heart. Why not make the brats with Vodka. Then you can be completely wasted before the game! LOL

We never have before but now that my husband's office keeps up on that he might watch it this year.  I do not make anything different either.

We aren't into watching sports; the results will be on the newscast.
About the only part of the super bowl that interests me is the half-time "puppy bowl."

And I'm not tuning in to watch the game for that alone.
We won't have any different food than we normally eat.  No party going on.

Superbowl Sunday is one of my favorite cooking events. This year I will be making Spicy Hawaiian Chicken chili. Hint: It has pineapple in it! I will also make my famous "Muddy Little Footballs". Bread rolls stuffed with spinach and cream cheese. My final touch will be Rachel Ray Beef Stoup. (A mix between Stew & Soup) Of course, beer is essential.

Open it up and have your guest bring a pot luck dish.  That becomes interesting.

LOL,  yeah, that would be interesting for certain.  I think we have enough to take care of everyone.

Oh but some may want to contribute and some pot luck dishes are really good.  Have them bring a dessert.  A 7 layer salad is also good.

I doubt they want to contribute.  My son's GF, his best friend and his GF and another close friend.  Possibly my wife's BF and her daughter.  No big deal, we know what they like to eat.

I see.  I was thinking that you were getting others from your son's BBall team or something like that.  Sound like you will have fun.

I will have more fun if the team I pick wins, which is the team no one else seems to want this year.
