Vincent Price is both my all time favorite horror movie actor (Bela Lugosi is a close second,) and my favorite cookbook author. I also liked Carolyn Keene's Nancy Drew Cookbook when I was a kid. Honestly the recipes in it are- meh. Vincent's held up to my adult palate. I enjoyed reading Julia Childs and learned a lot about food and cookery but the lady really liked to overcomplicate every recipe. The best one I have read and liked best recently was Chef José Gutierrez French Twist.
