Why is pork-gelatin allowed in foods and other oral products?

There's a large amount of people that don't intentionally want pork, because it's unclean.

If you are Jewish or Muslim, there are products that cater to you - but society is not required to cater to those groups.
If we ban things because some group finds it offensive or annoying, at what point do we end up vegan or starved to death? And banning things because this or that group doesn't allow it for their members means we're giving them a veto over everyone else's rights - which is a violation of THEIR rights.
The preferences of the minority do not trump the rights of the majority.

Because, as Emeril always says, "PORK FAT RULES!"

Emeril make good food recipes, but I wonder how many chefs would be on TV if they didn't cook pork at all.
