Fresh Broccoli Salad

    2 bunches of fresh broccoli-cut into florets
    1 small read onion chopped finely
    1 2/2 shredded sharp cheddar
    6 ounces of real bacon bits or 6 slices of bacon baked and crispy, broken into pieces.
    1 1/2 cup of rasins
    1 1/2 cup of Mayo
    1/2 cup of sour cream
    1/2 cup of chopped green onion

    In a large bowl combine mayo/sour cream; mix well. Add remaining ingredients, mix until well combined. Cover & chill before serving. Makes 8 servings.

    Thanks for sharing. might try that.That sounds good. Kinda similar to fresh brocolli salad of Sweet Tomatoes.

    I will steam the broccoli (until crunchy) and do away with the green onions and raisins. Can I replace the bacon with steam shrimps?
