2 bunches of fresh broccoli-cut into florets
1 small read onion chopped finely
1 2/2 shredded sharp cheddar
6 ounces of real bacon bits or 6 slices of bacon baked and crispy, broken into pieces.
1 1/2 cup of rasins
1 1/2 cup of Mayo
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of chopped green onion
In a large bowl combine mayo/sour cream; mix well. Add remaining ingredients, mix until well combined. Cover & chill before serving. Makes 8 servings.
Thanks for sharing. might try that. That sounds good. Kinda similar to fresh brocolli salad of Sweet Tomatoes.
Sounds really tasty - but was just wondering, do I get the real bacon bits from a real pig?
i have NEVER eaten broccoli uncooked. sounds like a challenge to me..i will try.
Good stuff but I'd put this in a Hub (with pictures, if you have them) instead!
I will steam the broccoli (until crunchy) and do away with the green onions and raisins. Can I replace the bacon with steam shrimps?
I love all kind of salads, will try this one.
thanks for quick recipe.
