Sub Sandwich - Chicken and Garlic Aoli Sauce
Walmart sells sliced deli meats and fajita sliced chicken was my choice for this sandwich. The bread, sold by the Walmart bakery, is a square, six inch long flat bun. It comes in a package of six and is not sliced. A serrated blade knife worked well to slice the bun in half, horizontally in the center.
I started with my meat slices, laying four slices across the bread in a double layer. Next, a quarter cup of pickled peppers, dill flavor. I added two handfuls of fresh spinach leaves and set them in place on top of the rest.
Then, a generous squirt of Subway brand Garlic Aeolia Sauce.
I used a knife to hold the spinach down, and folded the sandwich over. Then, sliced the sandwich in half, at a diagonal - to be pretty.
