Some Adsense Placement Control for Hubbers?

   Possibly this has been asked before. I did a search and came up with nil.
   
   Is it possible to allow users to control where the adsense blocks are placed. I'd like to be able to lace 1 or 2 in positions I feel they may be more visible and appropriate in my hubs. The ability to add a few blocks to my longer hubs the same way we add Ebay or Amazon capsules would be helpful..
   
   Is this a possiblity?

   How you build a hub and which capsules you configure has an effect on your ads.

   The ad level selected can change the placement, but I think you are asking if you can add a block of google ads in a capsule the same way we place amazon/ebay ads?
   
   If so, that is not possible as far as I can tell.

   I have my ad level set to high. But looking at my hubs and at others generally the only adsense is found at the top or bottom. I read something about sidebar adsense blocks in hubs on the forums but haven't seen them with my own hubs.
   
   I'd like to be able to add 1 or 2 more blocks in some of my hubs in places I think they would see the best results.  My payroll and garnishment type articles have done well in other writing venues with adsense and I'd like to maximize the potential here as well too.

      how do we better target those google ads, some of my best efforts, topic, keywords, tags up the wazoo and still I get ads targeted for everything BUT my ad, i.e. a topic onlove and I get google ads for laying cat 5 cable? computer love? any tips on hubs on how to write better to get better relevant ads? I though google crawled the page and was pretty good at targeting ads but whose gonna click this ad on this topic?

      I have found that if you write a smallish block of text and then break the following text into another capsule, you get an extra ad box underneath the first capsule of text floated to the left.
      
      Also, there is another block of ads in the sidebar underneath the related hubs box on the right, so I try to place a box of links in this position, next to that block of ads. Like so:

      It's not quite the same as you are talking about, but as close as I can come to getting what I think is maximum use out of the ads.
      
      Also, hubpages seem to be experimenting with ad placements at the moment, so you will see strange arrangements - but Paul says they are only doing that with their share of impressions, so sometimes when you visit a hub, you will see weird things happening.

   Jerrico I use the Adwords key word tool to help me out
   
   https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
   
   Put in a broad keyword for your topic and results will come up with related key words.
   
   There is a drop down box that says  "Choose columns to display "
   select it to "show esitmated average CPC"
   
   In the dollar amount box put in 25.00, you won't miss anything this way.
   
   Now you will have a list of related keywords for your topic, a column giving you a general idea of how much search action is going on for those specific key words, how much advertiser competition (how many are bidding for those words) as well as the amount they are bidding so you have a idea on what key words and key phrases are getting the best bang for the buck.
   
   Now use the best of the key word lists. The words that get high traffic, a lot of advertising competition, and high estimated CPC and put it to use in your hubs. Choose 3 or 4 of the differnet key words and use them excatly as they are listed in the adwords tool within your hubs. 
   
   Use a keyword in your title!
   Your permalink should also have a keyword in it. Does not have to be the same as the title but it helps. Use those same key words throughout your hub.
   
   Not only will the most relevant ads now appear on your hubs, but you will index better on search engines as well. Plus when your ads are clicked on, because you chose high paying key words your adsense account will benifit more too! This is a newer method for me so there may be better ways to do it, but its been working pretty well so far.

   I would like to have the ability to place ad's a bit more precisely than what is currently available also. Maybe 2008 will see more features released that will give us a little bit more control over our hubs layout and design.
