Question About Amazon Clicks and Sales

   So I pretty much just ignore my Amazon account, because I have never made a sale from it. Not in my other accounts either. But I checked it today to see May's sale-less clicks, and encountered an ordered item. The item has absolutely nothing to do with any of my hubs or posts, but of course i'm not picky about that.
   
   But it shows no amount or anything, and 0.00 earnings, so I'm confused. Why did they put it in my account if I get no credit?
   
   And don't we get credit no matter what they buy?
   
   But here's the thing that really stumped me. I noticed that on my May report it shows zero product link clicks, but like 129 "other clicks". Does that really mean that NOBODY clicked on any of my amazon items for the entire month of May, and yet 129 people actually ignored my items totally but clicked on the little Amazon logo instead?
   
   Somehow this just doesn't seem realistic.. What are product link clicks, and how is it possible I had zero while getting 129 "other clicks".
   
   It just don't seem right. What am I missing?

      To make earnings, you need a product click, a genuine order and then the item has to actually ship.  Only at that point will you see a sales commission.  If the order is canceled, you don't earn anything and if the item is returned, they subtract the commission.
      
      If you read the Amazon affiliate TOS, all the details are there.

         It also needs to be an item that pays a comission, some--like ebooks--do not.

   No this means that HP isnt configured to show you click types and you must not be using amazon on any of your own sites. You just dont have any "product links" as amazon sees them you have "other" links as created my HP widgets
   
   It has nothing to do with the little amazon logo.
